What does A & H Building Designers do?
We help clients with building design, planning and approval pathways for residential and commercial projects. We can help you understand the practical next step before committing to a larger design or approval process.
What is a property and building feasibility assessment?
It is a desktop review of the site and available information to identify planning and development factors that may affect a proposed project. It is designed to help you make a more informed decision before proceeding.
What is included in the Bronze Feasibility Assessment?
The Bronze Assessment is $550 + GST and includes a desktop study of the proposed enquiry, a 10.7(2) planning certificate from the local council, a site sketch (mud map) at scale 1:200 only, and initial development-approval options through an accredited private certifier or local council.
What is included in the Gold Feasibility Assessment?
The Gold Assessment is $1,450 + GST. It includes everything in Bronze, plus a site plan at scale 1:200, a floor plan at scale 1:100, a conceptual coloured 3D external view, development-approval options, and a design and approval quote. The initial Gold service fee is deducted from our fixed design and approval quote.
Does a feasibility assessment guarantee development approval?
No. The assessments are desktop studies based on available information and are not a guarantee of approval. Final outcomes may depend on council, certifier, consultant, engineering, surveying, legal and other third-party requirements.
Are council and consultant fees included?
No. Council, certifier, consultant, engineering, surveying, legal and other third-party fees are separate unless specifically stated in writing.
How do I start after purchasing an assessment?
After purchase, email us a brief description of your project so our team can begin the assessment. If you need help choosing between Bronze and Gold, call us before purchasing.
Which package should I choose?
Choose Bronze when you need an initial desktop review of a proposed site or project. Choose Gold when you also need preliminary site and floor plans, a conceptual external 3D view and a more detailed starting point for design and approval discussions.
